We will be installing the Mannington Restoration laminate in our dining room, great room, foyer, hall, and three bedrooms for a total of about 1200 sq. ft. Since my laundry room is just off the kitchen, we had the Mohawk LVT installed there also when the kitchen floor was done after a water leak in our concrete slab. I love the LVT because it's easy care and kind to my aging knees and legs. We have had no problems with the Mohawk LVT. We looked at Mohawk laminate and Quickstep, but we didn't find a color we really liked as well as the Mannington Restoration Historic Oak Ash and the Chestnut Hill Natural ( we still have to agree on one of those colors, LOL).
Like you, we can't find much info from homeowners who have lived with the Mannington laminate so we just decided to do some water, scratch and dent test of our own. I ordered several full plank samples of each color from efloors.com and have them clicked together in our great room. In addition to the test mentioned in my previous post, I also encourage my 15 lb. cat to chase the lazer light on them and haven't found any damage yet from his claws. Once we can agree on a color, we will order a box of the planks to live on for a couple of weeks.
If you look at the Mannington website, there is a video of how to install the Restoration laminate in kitchens and bathrooms. You might find the same info on the Mohawk website for the Revwood Plus.
Again, I wish you good luck in your flooring search.
