Well, the trim is all in, and I picked a stain. Ironically, I picked one that looks an awful lot like natural wood.
I can see the pergola through an arched window from the inside of my living room, and I've gotten used to seeing the natural wood and I think it's pretty. This stain will take the green edge off of it and darken it slightly - and best of all protect it!
I think all my husband heard was, "I paid that much money to have it look pretty much the same??!?!"
Here it is trimmed out! The lights will shine both up and down the posts. Now that it's done, I get the pleasure of power-washing the foundation. Yuck.
I HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone in the Houston-area. They do awesome work. Of course, I also HIGHLY recommend Kelly. :-)
