The lighting on the photo isn’t great and the tile is still wet here. The tile is a material that looks like cement and has that sparkle that cement has when you shine light directly on it and the shape of each block gives it an organic bamboo like look. The sink is a badeloft floating sink that weighs over 70lbs. It's really solid. The tilers originally installed the tiles horizontally ...someone didn't communicate :/ It looked really cool but had the appearance of a whicker basket and not the look I envisioned. Having spent a lot of time in Asia, I think it’s influenced this design that appeals to me. Someone pointed out that it looks a bit similar to the Cathay Pacific Airlines first class restrooms. Ha ...maybe subliminal. I am going to put a pendant single globe that will be place in the right corner of the sink since the sink has a shelf area on the right side. I have to figure out the optimal length to hang it from ceiling and decide on weather it should be 6” or 8” diameter globe. I found a really nice woman that makes these bubble lamps as I want one for another room. I sort of jumped the gun in ordering a bubble chandelier for another bathroom that was huge a...
