Exterior for TIm
I like how this is all the same color to create a clean, unified look but crazy to build a new house and paint the brick to match wood siding. Not a fan of the shed dormers as applied here.
Double gable over porch and bedroom and but in a different way from current elevation. BUT, I want the door centered between two sidelights, the line above the door to be straight across, squared posts. Won't need so many steps or rail. Roof across the larger gable with siding above? Garage gable too? Perhaps even put the fake window. But I repeat- I do not want the double gable over my front-facing garage. This roof breaks over far bedroom to create some difference in the mass of the roof, but is my set back enough to do that? It changes that even roof line, but breaking up the large roof mass look better. Does that increase or decrease expense?
Story and a half, so I won't have upper story gable, but WOW entry like my current elevation. However, I want that line straight with rectangular transom. Double squared posts? Is that overkill? no porch rail. Gable over the bedroom- stone up to the roof line, the extra wide white trim? I think it is even a shallow box bay, and then siding above with break in materials a white board rather than roof. I like the little window in the top of the gable. Hip roof. It also has a break in the roof line over what would be my east bedroom.
brick, too white?
