If you are talking about flat slab hollow core doors, do as you like.
If you are talking about paneled oak doors - not a good idea in my opinion. Oak is not a paint grade wood - the texture of the grain shows through. Many people paint oak anyway and do not mind it.
Wood moves with changes in temp and humidity and this causes hairline cracks in the paint at the joints - and there are lots of joints in paneled doors. So, there is a certain amount of upkeep to keeping them looking nice - add to that white painted doors show dirt / dust much more than wood.
Wood paneled doors cost more then white painted doors - which are either pressed hollow core doors that look like paneled doors (very inexpensive) or are solid core MDF doors which paints well and is more stable as too movement - but less durable if the MDF itself is exposed to water / high humidity. These MDF doors are less expensive than wood doors. If the oak doors are paneled and in good shape, consider selling them and buying white replacement doors. In general, wood doors have more value and cost more than MDF.
Consider just painting the trim. Wood doors look good with white trim.
White trim brings in the brightness of white, but keeps the warmth and beauty of the wood.
