Just completed our master bath remodel which included using Cambria quartz jumbo slabs (65 1/2" x 132" each), 1 cm thick, in torquay pattern (which has light gray swirls) for our shower. I even got a curved triangular floating shower seat made of quartz. Niches for shampoo bottles are hidden in the left wall. We used the 2 cm for the counter top and window sill. I didn't want grout in the shower floor either but I had to find something else when the contractor said that getting a custom size solid surface floor would take too long and cost too much. I must say though that the sliced pebble stone floor makes me feel as if I'm at a spa. Using quartz ran $12,000 so it's not cheap but I love our shower! P.S. Fabricators must be certified for Cambria to work with and install the material.
