It is possible they used a "polish" rather than a cleaner - and a polish is not allowed over most factory finished hardwood floors. Find out the EXACT product they used. If this is a polish (or a temporary finish like a polymer) then the GOOD NEWS is there will be a chemical "reversal" out there. And the company that made the polish will know what REMOVES the polish.
While you are waiting on this information, please check to see what GLOSS LEVEL you purchased on that floor. Did you order GLOSS (glossy like in the photo) or did you order "satin", "semi-gloss" or even "matte"? This is INTENSELY important.
The sheen level you are showing in the photo = gloss. I have a sneaking suspicion that the "scratches" are actually the polish having been removed and the real finish showing itself (looks to be a satin underneath the shiny polish).
Please find out what is your REAL sheen level. That will tell you - without a shadow of a doubt - as to whether or not a 'polish' was used on your floor. Work backwards on this. Find out YOUR floor's finish and then compare that to the GLOSS that is on them right now (that is slowly being worn off to reveal the actual sheen level underneath).
And to be clear...Zep makes a "wet look" floor polish available at Home Depot = Big Blue Bottle...can't miss it.
