Style Inspiration: Screens
Screens are a wonderful way to add a layer of design and texture to any room. A wide variety of styles and sizes is commercially available today, whether you are looking for something vintage, full of intricate Middle Eastern-style cutouts, or painted in a Chinoiserie style. Screens can be freestanding, bolted down into one spot, incorporated into the architectural design of window openings, or built in as doors. Other options for screens include making them opaque or choosing to puncture them with openings or play with transparent and translucent materials.
