Entry Columns

These columns look like columns we build out of treated pine 6 x 6's wrapped in 3/4 inch Hardie material then trimmed with 3/4 inch Hardie top and bottom with added vinyl trim to finish out the look. This way they can be anywhere from 7 inches to 11 inches wide depending upon how beefy you want them to look.

The columns are made custom. I have made some for my neighbor when replacing his old columns. They have a 4X4 or 6X6 post which is anchored top and bottom (plumb), then frame around the post with 1X? then frame around that at the bottom and top with additional material. Really easy to do if you are even slightly handy.
