"This is for a gut renovation of a very small kitchen."
If I were building a very small kitchen (and I have one), I'd install a range rather than separate cooktop and oven which is much easier and cheaper to install, and makes the most efficient use of space. No oven cabinet to mess with, no heavy oven to lift into the cabinet, no hard wiring of the cooktop and oven (just plug in the range), no countertop to cut up for the cooktop, etc. And when it's time for a replacement, you could just pull out the old range and push in the replacement. For example, this Samsung NE63BB861112 white, 30" induction range with white cabinets and a dark countertop could give you the sleek, uncluttered appearance you're looking for. If your super-sleek kitchen requires a cooktop, you could install one of these Summit white cooktops with a white countertop.
