Pikes Place is still my favorite part of Seattle. Seattle Art Museum is magnificent! And the science museum is amazing too. If you come in the summer, there are so many events to participate in as well including movies in the park, Shakespeare in the the park, dancing in the park, seafair, dragonfest in the International district, Seattle Street Food Fest and more. Fish Basket food truck has amazing fish tacos. Dukes makes the best chowder. The first Thursday of the month some museums are free, including the history museum. I love Seattle!

love the comments. I would add that for a very nice dinner, I love the mid-century modern architecture of Canlis overlooking lake union.

Others have mentioned the asian art museum which sits atop capitol hill in volunteer park but I also like the Conservatory - a large victorian (?) greenhouse with exotic plants. Also, down the hill from volunteer park, I like volunteer park cafe - located in a restored farm house.
