This Vacaville mid-century home was purchased by a young family that wanted to completely remodel the kitchen before moving in.
I drew a floor plan transforming a closed-in galley kitchen, to a spacious open kitchen, by removing a portion of wall and creating a peninsula with seating.
We removed large ceiling mounted fluorescent fixtures, replacing them with recessed lighting. Together, my clients and I, decided on a "70's Mod Vibe", using products from the new millinneum. Chrome ball pendants and orange accents; including the "Onda Counter Stool" give it a "retro" esthetic.
