Many people can relate to spaces in their homes without purpose. Well, I can assure you, all space can and should have purpose and often when we are done with designing them, they become the favorite part of the house.

With a baby on the way, we decided to redirect temporary work space to something more enjoyable and long term; redesigning this room into first and foremost an enjoyable permanent home office. Ready for one or both adults to use, the space is now custom designed to offer maximum surface area, with minimum interference – ensuring it can be enjoyed by multiple residents, including sleepover guests. Custom built ins, store everything from files to favorite books nearby, offering anyone else a place to sit and decompress. Bespoke window treatments offer not only internal privacy to those who use the luxurious made-to-fit sleeper sofa, but also to the outside world. Comfortable additions like tactile wallpaper, an old school turntable and a great personal collection of things, leave anyone feeling at home and at ease to stay and relax – or work a while.
