Steele Creek is a luxury high-rise apartment complex located in the heart of Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. Designed by The Housing Studio and Rottet Studio, two renowned architectural firms, this 218-unit masterwork features a soaring, mostly glass façade atop a foundational stone podium.

The 446,000 sq. ft. project, carried out by Denver-based general contractor Haselden Construction, is comprised of two buildings, the Adams Building (8 floors) and the Steele Building (12 floors with underground parking), which are connected via a bridge that crosses a public alley.

The unique design of Steel Creek combines the cozy and intimate feel of a courtyard building with the airiness, drama, and the expansive views of a high-rise. The building has over 17,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. It features 218 rental units of different scales and resident amenities such as spa, fitness center, yoga studio and media room.

The project includes a rooftop terrace with pool and a 5th level clubhouse deck. The clubhouse features a 6-panel Thermally Broken Folding Door System (TS.60) which bi-parts and stack to the sides. The two middle panels function as flag doors for everyday use as an entryway.

When the energy efficient unit is completely opened, it spans a 20’ wide by 8” high opening, seamlessly connecting the clubhouse with the exterior deck area for indoor/outdoor living enjoyment. When the system is closed, it provides maximum insulation and shelter against the elements.
