As you can see in the picture, this is a one sided design. However the back does have a purposeful design. The bolts are screwed into an exposed nut of the same color. Please note that NO screws are left exposed, leaving both sides worthy of a picture, & safety for kids! We install two small stainless steel 4 inch brackets to the back for additional support for long term wear and tear. We believe this adds to the industrial look to the back of the door which is important to us.
