Our Pasadena interior design studio gave this dated 1980s beige-and-black condominium a stunning new light and contemporary kitchen and living area upgrade. The client’s love of black and white and modern lines provided the starting point for thoughtful design choices that added lasting value to the home.

In the kitchen, custom wood cabinets, stainless appliances, touchless plumbing fixtures, eye-catching tile, and durable quartz countertops created a fresh and bright space for entertaining. Lighting and electrical upgrades brought the space up to code.

The dining room features a gorgeous mid-century modern dining set from Brownstone Furniture with the seats upholstered in Very Peri, the 2022 Pantone Color of Year. Dimensional decorative glasswork artwork from Global Views adds visual interest to the walls.

The living room was elevated with new custom furnishings, artwork, lighting, and Ultrasuede drapes. We updated the old brick fireplace and firebox with modern white porcelain tiles, black glass chips, and decorative ceramic balls to evoke a chic hotel lobby.
