A true Mid-Century home built in 1955 near California wine country, this home overlooks the city from its perch on a road that winds its way up into the hills, then drops down to a view that is reminiscent of an Italian countryside with the city center in the distance. The city hall is 100 years old, but one could imagine it as part of the "Italian" view. This project is still in the beginning stages of development, and will most likely be this way for a few years to come as the owners are still actively running a business. It is currently their vacation home & will eventually be their primary home. Although the home was built in 1955, the owners did not request a copycat design of that era. Instead we did a nod to Mid Century.
