Nancy Plank became an English teacher and brought her love of art to the classroom; giving her students projects that included illustration. Again Nancy found art seeping into her life when she became the mother of two girls. Her daughters started drawing as soon as they could hold themselves up to the coffee table. As her daughters grew, Nancy began taking classes at the Athenaeum in La Jolla, which lead into numerous workshops in San Diego, Chicago, and New York.
