An underutilized formal living room is reimagined to reflect the cool, modern style of the homeowners. Our goal was to create a welcoming space with a casual elegance where they could entertain friends.
A new custom wool area rug defines the expanded seating area featuring a new sofa and club chairs. Generously sized custom accent pillows fill the deep back sofa making it a wonderful space to curl up with a book. Suzani pillows complement the cream club chairs while adding a fresh graphic statement to the quiet, neutral fabrics in the room. Cool gray walls further the serene palette and have been left with minimal decoration. Once the room that rarely gets used, this Zen-like space is now their sophisicated retreat.
