This family room had too much big furniture, a dark and dated brick fireplace surround and not enough lighting. My mission: Lighten, brighten, and cozy up this family room meant to be lived in every day.

The new design called for a new floor plan that did not block the entrance to the sunroom, a mason to apply a light mortar over the brick to brighten, recessed lighting, new furniture, window treatments, artwork, and accessories.

Very warm and cozy.
