We re-worked a dysfunctional first floor dining & kitchen area to encompass a larger & more open kitchen that functions much better, reducing the size of the dining room & incorporating it into the kitchen area. We were then able to add an office & laundry within the same footprint. We also made a door out of a window, leading to their back patio that previously had no convenient access.
