The stairway was all in the same wood, stairs, railing, wall panels, so it was really heavy and dark. We decided to paint the railing, wall panels and front of stairs white, only the posts and the handrail were painted a dark grey. Walls went from beige to blueish grey and we added a red bench in the entry to give a pop of colour. New cabinet over the water heater and a new round mirror finish this now fresh entrance.
