After a lengthy stint in Singapore, the owners of this stunning property in Hawthorn moved back to Australia, intending to renovate their family home. They wanted to include a new garage and a parking area, but like many properties, the original slab was not engineered to cope, so they had to start again from scratch.

Our clients engaged an architect to design the structure, and Cranberry was hired to design all the internal layouts and joinery for the selection of tapware and appliances and for a home furniture package that would cater to all the family's needs.

The overall design concept was to keep the feel of the existing house with some modernisation as the clients loved the existing chimney, and the outdoor spaces worked perfectly. We kept the original pool and landscaped around it and worked tirelessly during the build to save the beautiful oak tree in the back garden.
