For this kitchen remodel, the homeowners wanted to remove their existing dining room in order to expand their kitchen. The kitchen includes a new island with counter height seating, a recessed ceiling detail, hanging pendant lighting, and opens up to a new larger opening to the living room. Two new Milgard windows and an exterior door were installed to provide plenty of natural light into the kitchen.

The sleek concrete countertop at the kitchen complements the white cabinets and the full height gray stone mosaic backsplash at the cooktop. The black quartz countertop at the island creates a contrast with the sleek concrete countertop at the kitchen and hutch area and gives the island an extra pop.
