The old deck rails did not do the view justice. We used the existing clear cedar post, installed a hand selected and profiled clear 2x6 cedar with multiple coats of Daly's SeaFin Teak Oil as the top cap. The 316 stainless steel cables and hardware are all marine grade. All of these products are perfect for the Northwest and extremely easy to maintain. The cedar does requires minimal maintenance but the combination of wood and stainless create a classic Northwest look.
