1970s Ranch House Family Entertaining Kitchen
The original 1970s ranch house was dominated by the roof, and the kitchen ceiling was only 8' high. The homeowners wanted a major addition to the side, to enlarge the kitchen and eating area. Something had to change, to improve the exterior appearance and modify the room's proportions. The solution: a dormer over the addition.
