Prim Haus

After looking for plans for well over a year, we landed on the mini cottage + garage plan. We fell in love with everything about this plan. It prioritizes communal spaces and will be great for entertaining, but does not skimp on the primary bedroom features and storage all throughout the home. We cannot wait to get started. And you do not need to be concerned about being just another sale. Buying a plan was intimidating but after purchasing we got emails from Scott offering to answer any questions and assist in any way. He was incredible. Constant communication about things we asked and we could not be more happy we chose to go with these plans. I could not recommend them more!

Prim Haus did a wonderful job in helping us design our dream home. We worked with Scott and he walked us through each step of the design process. We chose Prim Haus due to their modern and clean designs, the ability to incorporate our desired room functionality and décor, and the flexibility to expand the space as our family grows. Initially we weren't sure if we wanted to build a weekend home or a more permanent residence with more space. We end up deciding on the Rambler for our property in the Catskills, NY. We are looking to build a weekend home with the ability to add rooms/sections from a hallway extension at a later stage. This flexibility design allows us to add more space without sacrificing the overall look of the house. High recommendations for their service.

After being disappointed with both the cost and design value of local architects, as well as the lackluster designs of other online architectural plan companies, I am so glad we found Prim Haus. Their designs truly stand out, and they back it up with incredible service. Working with Scott was easy going and encouraging. He enthusiastically worked with us to customize and combine elements from his multiple Modern Cottage plans to create something that worked perfectly for our property and family. He listened to all ideas and concerns we had and communicated creative solutions, suggesting the best implementations of our needs. After months of searching around the web, we found Prim Haus and quickly discovered Scott and his team are the real deal. We found their designs to be not only of great value compared to other architects / designers, but amazingly beautiful and functional as well. Because our property was quite unique and challenging, we ended up building a custom home, and we could not be more pleased. Throughout the design process, Scott was receptive to our input and communicated as much and as often as needed. Our final design featured everything on our wish list, plus some. He is a creative problem solver and gave us invaluable guidance along the way. The design presentations were fabulous. They did it all, 3d tours, high-end renderings, virtual reality mocks ups. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed and grateful as we both have a difficult time visualizing spaces. We were also extremely pleased with the ongoing support that was provided during the permitting process and as our home was constructed. We were forewarned that several submittals are typically needed to obtain a building permit. But, Scott coordinated seamlessly with our structural engineer, and we obtained our permit on the first submittal. Scott also quickly accommodated minor changes we requested as construction progressed. Cannot recommend more. They aren't low cost by any means but still an absolute bargain compared to the local quotes we received.

We are so incredibly excited to build our modern farmhouse! The design is stunning! It was such a pleasure working with Scott on refining the design to meet our needs. He's really thought about this design a lot. I felt so confident in his advice as we were progressing along and he always had great solutions and options to offer. We had been looking for house plans for about a year and even reached out to another architectural firm/building company but never received a response after multiple attempts. We were at a loss, however, we came across this gem of a home. We knew this absolutely was our dream home. When we reached out to Primhaus, we received an immediate response from Scott. Scott has been phenomenal during this entire process. He is kind, friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. No questions went unanswered and he seemed to only be satisfied when he knew we were more than satisfied. His level of professional services are abundant and he has been amazing to work with. I found Primhaus when looking for ideas on building a modern Scandinavian farm house. While we liked the general design of the house we chose we needed to modify it to meet our own needs. Scott worked with us on a number of Zoom meetings to provide us with a final product that we are now moving forward to build. After every session with Scott he sent us an updated draft to mull over. My wife and I were very impressed with his problem solving skills. Every change we wanted to make brought on another challenge. Scott always came up with a solution that made the overall design even better. In addition to his outstanding creativity Scott was very patient and never rushed us. Even when our design was finalized he offered to help us in the future if we run in to any issues. It should be mentioned how surprised we were to find out that the price for the plan modifications was well beyond reasonable. Our whole experience with Scott and Primhaus far exceeded our expectations.
