Do you ever wonder about who 'THEY' are?
Comments (14)Remember when the kids were young, and there would be a period when they [the kids] would attempt to use "THEY" as an authority ~~ from "they" stay up to ten on school nights to "they" get a new box of crayons, and "they" don't have to finish the homework before going out to play. Whenever this happened, I always told the kids to give me name and phone number and I would be glad to consult with whoever "they" were, but otherwise my word was final. I don't think I ever had to consult. But the methodology is still effective: if you don't have a real name and contact for any "they" cited, then you're likely better off ignoring whatever "they" are claiming....See Morewho makes this kind of casement window?
Comments (10)The mull will bother me too I think although I will have to learn to live with it since it is already installed. It really looks great unless you are standing where the sink will be. . . I don't have a window at my sink now - my sink is in a peninsula overlooking the breakfast room with windows - so I guess it is an improvement??? I got the casement mainly because I am also getting the wolf with charbroiler. I have a big cfm blower but it is remote and I am worried about smoke so I wanted to be able to open my kitchen window to help with that. Of course, the awful Kolbe salesperson or Kolbe themselves sent an inoperable casement. Who puts an inoperable *casement* over their sink - the whole point is that they are easy to open! It will be fixed - needless to say! Sorry for the sidetrack vent - our casements have two vertical lights per row so they match up great with the double hung (I was very insistent about this with my architect). Not sure if I have a good picture but can take one tomorrow. Of course it has a huge mull so it may not be what you want - I agree with chisue that a triple casement is perfect....See MoreWondering who makes this coffee table
