Hi Twilkins72 - note that every store is going to have different pricing so my 40% off is likely going to based off a different starting point. From what I've seen, most furniture dealers mark up initially by 100%+ their cost and will negotiate down. They obviously need to pay the bills too, so it will vary from dealer to dealer what you can get them down to. The furniture dealer near me that has the current "special" is Parker Furniture. Hi! I'm considering a Capsule Furniture sectional, but am wary of buying online for something as critical as a couch! Has anyone had any experience with Capsule? I think the rug is fine, just pull the sectional away from the wall so you don't have that expanse of space to the left. Furniture shouldn't really be smack against the wall anyway. Another suggestion- Have you thought about painting the back wall of your shelving unit another color than brown? Right now it looks very dark. Why not take some posterboard/chipboard, you can buy huge ones for a dollar at the dollar store and paint them them different colors and cut them to fit the back of the shelves (not the shelves themselves.) Also see what you think about your wall color, some of the colors in your carpet, too. You can also use the same chipboard and cover it with wrapping paper, fabric or wall paper, something rather neutral so your children's artwork will shine. This way, it will be temporary and you can change it up any time the mood strikes, and you can involve your children in the project, too.

A swiffer is a help but it doesn’t seem to get larger particles, not dust, which come from who knows where. Also, any small lego pieces the grandkids happen to accidentally drop and which slide under the sofa. Once something is under there, it’s a massive job to lift the sectional pieces. They also don’t slide. We control clutter and do daily normal cleaning as well as frequent weekly vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc. in between regular vacuuming, I use a Robot vacuum. Its not a huge deal, just temporarily irritating whem I shine a flashlight under the sectional and see how much debris is under there.
