i ordered the fridge, dishwasher and convection microwave for my kitchen remodel. the cabinet guys screwed up the cabinet for the microwave, so i ended up w/ a thermador MCES instead. i'm happy w/ the fridge,i especially like the refrigerator, but the freezer is a bit small. filtered water for dispenser and ice maker is welcomed here. but after a week the latch on the dishwasher wouldn't function. today it was replaced with the newly improved latch. apparently this has been a problem with the kude40 line. i will say it does a good job on dishes (i've had it full of dirty dishes for 2 weeks and ran it this afternoon..spotless everything).soooo...if you go this route, make sure they install the upgraded latch. do you intend to use the microwave as your range hood? (300 cfm seems a bit anemic for a 60,000 btu cooking surface) nice touch having a warming drawer though.

We are nearing the end of our recent kitchen remodel and found that what worked for us a empty nest couple was to set up a temporary kitchen and eating space in our nearby dining room. We used our ninja Foodi constantly, which is a great appliance that you can use to air fry, pressure cook, and even sauté, roast and bake. For two people it worked well for most dinners. There are lots of great recipes online that can help maximize its use. I made tacos using the sauté function to brown ground beef or chicken, then pushed the meat to one side to make room to heat a can of refried beans. We took leftovers to work for lunch where we both have access to microwaves. I do wish we’d been able to have use of a small microwave, but I didn’t want to spend money on something we’d need for only a month. Friendly neighbor allowed me to pop across the street to heat things quickly a time or two. I also used the Foodi to pressure cook hard boiled eggs, cook a pound of bacon for BLTs, make “magic” spaghetti that requires no boiling of pasta, etc. I knew before we remodeled that the Foodi was a workhorse but found during our project that it was invaluable! We kept our toaster handy and used that for BLTS, warming tostada shells and well, toast. Clean up was as much a challenge as cooking. I bought three cheap plastic dishpans and set up a station on our BBQ prep table, located right next to a hose bib. We also have an outlet nearby that we used to power a work light as well as an electric kettle. I cannot tell you how much I loved having that electric kettle to heat water for not only cooking things, but also the cleaning up! Washed items in one dishpan, used a second one to set soapy dishes in to later rinse well with the hose, then poured a final rinse of hot water from the kettle to help things dry more quickly. It worked pretty well. We also tried to wipe off plates and bowls as well as we could. Greasy things were not fun. Pic of our dishwashing area. Good luck with your project!

If it is of any help, I have a Bosch Benchmark dual fuel. I'm on the fence about it. The fames are uneven on the cooktop (my last Bosch had this afliction as well, more fool me) The oven bakes fine enough, but is not particularly outstanding. I bake a loaf of sandwhich bread a week, and love to bake in general. The convection bake browns things closer to the fan sooner/better than on the other side (towards the door away from the fan). So you might not get perfectly even baking there. That sheet of perfectly brown cookies? Not with this oven. Fine enough result, but not magical by any means. Our repair person reccommended I buy a Bosch. Yale appliance on YouTube is a Boston area appliance store that has been in business for about 100 years. They have repair based reviews on many appliances. The owner talks about the pros and cons of each brand, and then places the appliance in the context of their repair history. The store services what they sell, and does thousands of service calls a year that they use to mine their data. The reviews are very thorough, as in "this XX product range has these cooktop beneifts, but a smaller oven, with fewer settings" or whatever. Some induction ranges have reduced output on the other burners when you set the largest one to 'high.' Another Yale Appliance tidbit. It was from Yale that I learned the Bosch Pro style ranges are actually manufactured for Bosch by Smeg and they share their thoughts on Smeg. I also learned from them that Bosch induction ranges run on a 40 amps, they suspect that this leads to they greater reliability. Not that you want induction, but someone brought it up.
