sadiesmom I love that blue in the room too. Even if you are told what the color is on the wall, it will not be the same IRL. Between the lighting of the room, the camera and your monitor there are too many distortions to the color. Your best bet is to try to find color swatches that match what you see on your monitor. Or you can print it and hopefully it will print close to what you see and that can be taken to the paint store for a color match. Sky

The color on my monitor is actually not how it looks in real life. The paint is from Devine paints, and the color is Steamer. In real life it has a bit more green to it. Here's my dresser pic again:

Tell her to upload that picture into the Sherwin Williams Color Visualizer tool. It will give her matches based on the parts of the image she identifies. Its kind of cool. Of course this isn't 100% perfect but it will give her a place to start as far as identifying the paint chips that are closest to what she wants.

The current color looks fine to me. A couple of decor items that combine the two colors will bring it all together. Rugs, art, pottery, roman shades. Just adding a bit of the blue to the floors or some of the beige on walls will make a big difference.
