Check with your local furniture stores. Often, they will have tables with damaged tops or broken glass that you could buy just for the base. Another option would be to find a picture of a table you like and have a metal worker replicate the base for you.

That's what I thought also. Paint what you have and see how it looks. Just my opinion, but you have too many chairs at the counter. Try painting 3 and see how it looks with the table and chairs. If and when you do buy new ones, get stools, not chairs, they take up less room. Bring some teal/blue accessories into the kitchen to tie in with living room.
