I love the windows in your living/family room. According to Google AI: A chandelier over a round dining table should be one-third to one-half the diameter of the table. For example, a chandelier with a diameter of 20–30 inches would be a good size for a 5-foot round table. According to 2Modern: A chandelier over a round 60” table should have a diameter of around 30-40” – or around ⅓ to ⅔, at most, of the diameter of the table According to Lightopia: The rules for round, square, and rectangle tables are the same for length/diameter but with rectangle tables there is a formula also for width. Ideal chandelier diameter for round or square table is ⅓ to ½ the diameter of your table. Example: 5’ round/square table with (60”) diameter x .3 = 20” and multiplying by .5 = 30”. Therefore, chandeliers that are 20” - 30” diameter would be an ideal size for a five foot round or five foot square table. These are just guidelines. Some chandeliers have heavier visual weight than others. I'm not a designer but I believe that task lights in the kitchen should generally be in front of you, not behind you. That means that the recessed lights above the counter should be just before the counter edge so that they light the work area and will not create your shadow when you're standing in front of the counter chopping/prepping. But if you have undercabinet lighting, this may not be a problem. If you will be doing prep on the island, whether you are facing the wall or the sink window, the overhead lights will be behind you.

In case it helps, here's a rough mockup trying to size it out on graph paper. (I did this before ordering lights because it helps me to visualize.) I do think it will help to have your table in place (or at least be able to do a mockup of its size) and I also think the light will work. (Cool light btw!) In general, people leave 30-36" between the top of the table and the bottom of the fixture. Since your fixture has some openness at the bottom, perhaps you could go a bit lower, depending on your height and preference. With an 8' ceiling, you'd have 96"-30" table height - 30" space over table - 16" fixture height = 20" of space above your fixture.

Ok... now I see that you already have some sconces in the area! So you’re like, enough with the sconces already. I don’t know if there is lighting on the shelves, but that could be an area to sneak in some additional ELL (eye level lighting) if you wanted to. Could be easy with a few remote control puck lights lights. But maybe you already have lighting there! And I also now see that you have (what looks like) a second tv at eye level. So I don’t know what you have going on with that... Seems you might have all the bases covered! Hence, why you are like, ”People, I just want a CHANDELIER.” :)
