Hi @goredr, I meant start a new thread where your post was the opening statement. But, I like your picture. It helps very much to describe what you are asking. If you still care to begin your own thread, you just enter it at the top and add the picture along with it. You give the tread a title. Your Title could be something like "advice needed for mirror placement in makeup/vanity area". Or something shorter. I think you will get more feedback with your own post because it will be new. This thread is old and may be ignored. I think a lovely mirror of your choosing would look special and personal to you, between the sconces. It could be a long oval, a rectangle, with or without frame. I think a bevel would be a nice touch, especially with a frameless mirror. Since that is a makeup area, what other lighting will you have? I feel that the lighting you have now, may not be bright enough.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't seen the brushed nickel J-channel (assuming you have :-) That would probably look better than the only other alternative..chrome. The lights above the mirror will be polished nickel. Wondering...do you suggest clips on the top of that mirror?..The old mirror had the clear clips...able to remove the mirror from the wall entirely. Hardly noticeable. I notice that a lot of newer homes just glue the mirror to the drywall.

...Your in a rough spot. Maybe a good airstep by Congo Loose laid vinyl over top with some embossing. starting to come loose. If you are two layers of tile...you should be able to do a double build up and get it about dead nuts than feather any difference and again use a loose laid that way if any tiles loose their integrity, your floor will not be ruined.....you probably would hardly notice.

Wow, very nice room ! I think the plant on the floor clutters up the space. My eye went immediately to it, instead of your wonderful chair and curtains. What does it look like without a plant there?
