Kathie, No worries! I had the rules explained to me so I'm trying to adhere to them while at the same time helping out with the info. The "Town and Country" grouping is 140 items from H&M that are offered in specific frame configurations in specific leathers. Pricing is very aggressive in this promotion, so it pays to shop there first. The T&C pieces are the same ones in the regular catalog, and the likewise the hides come off the same group as the main sample swatches. This can get confusing, but I'll try to explain it as best I can. Within the T&C program, there will be a 'married cover' hide at the lowest price. This is a leather that is pre-sewn as a kit form, and on the shelf at H&M. When an order comes in for this category, they pull the kit, and cover the frame with it. When you do the married cover items, there are no pre-approval swatches. In the past, "married cover" almost always meant it was sewn in China, but H&M no longer does that and their kits are sewn in North Carolina. At the next level of T&C, you typically can choose another leather series (such as any Document colorway) for more than the Married Cover Price, but for less than working out of the main price book. Heres an example of how pricing would look for an Austin Sofa (they are not the real prices, I'm just making these up since I'm typing from home). Austin Sofa in Married Cover, choose from Document Chestnut, Cavilier Oxblood or Cavalier Dark Blue. $ 2,299 (these are Grade II hides in kit form) Austin Sofa in Any other Document colorway $ 2,699. Austin Sofa in Any other Cavalier colorway $ 2,899. Austin Sofa in any Grade II leather from the main book $ 3,299. So, as you can see, there are several price steps you can choose for the same frame. It really all depends on if you're shopping budget or shopping a specific hide or 'look'. By far, most people will buy in a T&C promo if the piece they like is offered in it, and many will give up the leather selection they really like to save some money by buying into the program. There are thousands of options with Hancock and Moore. I suspect your feeling limited in selection is more a function of your local dealer not offering (or not knowing!) all the various price structures and program items. Its confusing and as a dealer if you're not real careful you can wind up mis-quoting the line on pricing. Thats why many dealers only offer a few pieces at specific prices. The Town and Country program is ongoing, and changes with each April and October High Point Market. Some items come in and others go out, and there are price increases that come into the line as well. Just to update, we finally ordered a sectional from Century. It is L shaped with a loveseat on one wall and a sofa length on the other. The good thing is that it is 43" deep so it should be very comfortable to lay on. We chose a chenille type fabric in a greenish tone. We started the room's decor off by picking 2 oriental rugs and pulling colors from that. The sofa comes with 7 throw pillows, so I chose 2 different fabrics for 4 of those. We'll see if it works or not when it comes in! On another note, once we started to choose decor, we realized the color on the walls was pukey and we had to get the painters back to change from blue to brown. I'm so glad we did that. It really warms up a basement room with no windows. The lighting is what made color selection so tricky. Also in there, we got a leather recliner from Hancock & Moore. And the really neat looking Wisteria Barn door coffee table. Funny thing is that when it arrived, it really did smell like a...barn door! Fortunately that smell has disapated.

I can suggest what we did -- we went with a moderately priced leather (leather match -- the back and sides are actually a matching vinyl but 12 years later they still look like the seats -- just less worn) when my youngest was probably in 1st grade -- he's in college now. We have two boys and they grew up with the sectional, DH came and took breaks from working in the yard, and two dogs acquired along the way sometimes came in and hopped up before we noticed they'd been in the pool or dirt. I can't think of anything else that would have lived with us so well, been so comfortable that I fell asleep on it the first day we had it and it's still comfortable. Our sectional is a Lane and I've been surprised to see people calling them junk, but we bought it 12-13 years ago and things may have changed since then. It wasn't top of the line -- the leather match takes it out of that category, but the leather and the vinyl have not given us any problems, Everything other than the Sharpie mark left when my youngest fell asleep while working on homework cleaned up easily, and I even got out the Sharpie. I will stop short of recommending Lane because the reviews now seem universally poor, but I do think it makes sense to go with a modest (not cheap) to mid-range sectional. I wouldn't look at top dollar or maybe even your top budget unless you know you aren't going to be moving for a number of years (the size of configuration might be all wrong for the next house). We are looking at Omnia at a local dealer. If you don't have a local dealer, there are some locations you can purchase online (including limited models from Wayfair. They are full leather -- not match and made in USA. They have non-reclining sectionals in your price range. All the ones we've sat on have been very comfortable. We have ruled a few out because the backs are shorter. Your DH may like the split cushion back -- they sit 2" taller. My 6'4" sons liked them. Macy's also has some leather sectionals that are sofas and loveseats with a corner wedge. That means have two arms on both sides and can separate them -- even use them separately or in the reverse configuration if you move. I prefer not to have the arms inside the sectional and they don't fit our space anyway, so they aren't an option for us, but I've sat on them and they are very comfortable too. Hope that helps.

A sofa and two lounge chairs is always the most flexible, however a sectional small in scale might work. I might consider placing the TV in the RH corner instead of giving it a whole wall, but it's hard to tell without seeing that wall. You might want to consider adding think shelves to either side of the FP wall.
