Thanks you guys! Cooperbailey I was tipped off to Lowe's lighting by the Just Beachy blog - I never would have tought it! I was eyeing the one you have in your kitchen for my dining area (small table.) But it won't work with what I'm doing for the kitchen island lighting, which is in very close proximity. Nanna I bought the mirror years ago at a place in Boston called IN Home Furnishings. FANTASTIC store, albeit a tad pricey, usually only bought stuff on sale. It's hanging as an accent in my powder room in my PA house. It is pretty small and I'd be afraid the wrong scale for the sink - it's 11w x 15h at its furthest points, and the mirror itself is only 5x7. There's a shop here in town that has lots of white washed mirrors with great gesso (or sometimes carved) frames, I'll take a peek at what they have. If I find one I like I could silver leaf it. Or not. ;-)

Calamity - I'll empty my camera & take movies - have a GIG memory card in it - it will work - the lighting is good in the room so you should be able to see how he does it - it is a camera. Oooh! Maybe we can put the little mini movie in the FAQ! Or at least the link. I'll leave it on the big web site I do - we always have lots of space on that web site - it has over 3,000 pages. I think I'll do the grozier one too - one with me trying to do it & then ask my teacher to do it & you can watch the glass fly - as he is a pro at it & have a laugh at me doing it, LOL! Slow ~ Yes, I will do the indirect method. I'll try one - if I don't like it - I'll just make cement molds & then grout everything on. I used GEII. Maybe after I cut the ceramic tiles I should have sealed them before glueing them on? I know you are not to use inside tiles for use in the outside - maybe this is why? I thought I was safe since it was embedded in the cement. Or maybe I should use Slow's way with Maipei morter??? I dunno but those edgers were DA BOMB & is just so sad to see this happening. I live in Pittsburgh - we actually had a mild winter. My edgers were perfect, made it through the winter & all of a sudden 2 weeks ago all heck broke loose. They still look pretty but 1 more winter & they are going to start to look pretty bad. I was thinking about using this Quickwall that has fibers in it for strength. Haven't put a lot of thought into it as I have too many projects going on in the yard. They have cement for stepping stones at the mosaic store - he said it had strengtheners in it - I'm going to check out what's in it next time. Maybe when I get the edger mold, it will have some directions. It sure looks like a lot of work. I figure I can cut the glass all winter long & spring start banging them out.

I like the style of the mirrors. It fits with the farmhouse look, but the color is all wrong. I would spray paint the black silver to match your other stuff and paint the wood part grey like your cabinets.

momof4 - I'd stick with polished chrome for the faucet. The mirror is very pretty! My bathroom has mixed metals.
