LIL: The Four States Fair is in Texarkana, Arkansas. Texas, Arkanasa, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Stateline Ave. in Texarkana divides TX and AR, and LA and OK not far away. It's an old-fashioned fair w/ferris wheel, awful, sickening rides I experienced w/GD a few yrs. back, and fair food, the whole shebang. You're close enough to come and partake of our country ways. All my beds w/be filled that weekend, but y'all are welcome to come, hang out here, and stay in motels at night. It only takes a few hrs. to see the fair. From 9:00 pm-2:45 am Fri/Sat nights w/find DD/friends and me dancing at the Electric Cowbow on the AR side. Bring your boots and come join the fun.

budge1: I like the brown floral. In fact, after your post I started looking at a few similar fabrics for myself. I think I need to just place my order so I can stop agonizing over it all. I was the same way with my kitchen. I kept tweaking the design for over 6 months and drove my DH and KD nuts. I love my kitchen, though even today I see someone else's kitchen and think, hmmm... maybe.... so that's why I frequent this board now over kitchens. jejvtr: Thank you for the other suggestions for sofas and glad you like the look of the CC one. I had picked that out over a month ago--it was the side chairs that I was in a delimna what to do regarding style and fabric and once I made my choices, I started to wonder if the chairs would go with the style sofa I had picked. If the decorating experts say this one goes, that is enough for me. I'd rather stick with CC at this point since I've already picked all my fabrics, sat in the sofa and found it to be comfortable, maped out the dimensions in my floorplan, etc. teeda: That was the conclusion I came up with also so no more looking for me on CL at vintage sofas. When we remodeled our house we lived in an apt for 7 motnhs and my poor DS actually slept in a sofa bed in the living room the entire time! After that, the sofa was not the same so we had to replace it with the sectional. The sofabed will only get occasional use and I think I might get an aerobed down the road so guests can have a choice and I have more options for additional guest sleeping since neither DH nor my family live locally--wonder if you can take them camping? Tommorrow I'm going down to CC and place my order--for the WTs, the sofa and 3 sofa cushions. The associate is busy getting a quote for me on reupholstering the chairs as I FAXed her a picture and dimensions which she sent to their workroom. I'm thinking of using the floral on the fronts and the green velvet on the back and arms. For the sofa cushions I will do 2 in the pink diamond fabric with fringe and a center cushion with the floral and green velvet combo.

I like it! If you find yourself ever tiring of it, I think you can change paint color and illows and git it completely different looks. Have fun and enjoy! By the way, we ran into issues in trying to order the sectional we'd planned on ordering and had to start over in finding a dificult size. Finally ordered it just about a week ago. The color changed to a deeper grey blue. Looking forward to seeing it. Hope I like it as much as yours.

You guys are great!! Thank you so much! We are going to play with the arrangement this weekend and see how it affects the egress in the room. I have a feeling that the couch against the windows is going to interfere with the natural walkways of that room. But, that being said, I just have to see it to rule it out because I really like the idea of the large sofa on that longer wall. I have already purchased a solid blue drapery panel for that window but a pattern might actually be a great idea and add a little something extra to the room. Rebecca, that rug is from the Magnolia collection and it is by Loloi rugs. Thank you, it was actually the first thing I bought for that room. My last several houses have all been in the darker words and darker red‘s, browns and when I saw this house, I knew I wanted to go with something a little bit different hence the blues and the grays. I was also thinking about doing a dark blue on the chairs but then wanted the dark blue on the window treatments and didn’t think I would want to put a dark blue chair against a dark blue window treatment. I hope that makes sense. So my thought was maybe going with more of a natural linen color on the chairs and then adding a pattern or solid blue pillow.
