When I say tibbar tibbar I say it just before midnight on the first day of the month. Then I don't say anything else till after midnight on the 2nd day of the month. Whereas you say rabbit rabbit before you say anything else at the beginning of the day which is at 12:00 a.m. on the 1st of every month. I figure we are somewhat protected if we did it on New Year's Eve for the whole year anyway. :-).

Most family members remembered to say or text "rabbit, rabbit" this morning. I said it to my husband and told him not to say anything but rabbit rabbit. He did, so we are good. I am looking forward to lucky days ahead. My daughter put in a bid on a house today and hopefully with rabbit luck and lots of prayers her bid will be accepted by the seller. The seller will review offers today. I think. She is relocating with her kids to be close to family and new job after a failed marriage. This is the 4th house she bid on, but the best one so far. Like everywhere, the real estate market here is difficult for buyers. If you want to offer prayers or good vibes, I would greatly appreciate it.

"Luck" of the draw 😉 the tornado could have landed on house, someone could have been in a car accident... It really could have been worse!!!! My child will get there. It's what we all suffer, and grow from. I'd rather they experience it, they'll grow from it. If you don't experience it, you don't live!!!

I was up watching the Thin Man movies, woke DH up at 11:45pm. We watched the ball dropped then said our stuff...then heard fireworks at our neighbors and watched them go off while I rang my Tibetan cow bell and shouted Happy New Year!! Please oh please, may 2022 be an easier year on us than either of the prior two...and if not, may we find the resilience and strength to survive to see 2022 out as we have with 2021.
