Just one of those days.

I drink iced green tea. I make a pot of it, which lasts me about 3 days or so. This morning, before I went to bed, I ventured into the kitchen to make the tea, so it would have time to chill before I took it to work.

The pot I make my tea in was in the dishwasher. So I went to retrieve it. While doing so, I decided I might as well put all the other clean dishes away. So I did.

Then I decided to put the dishes that where in the sink into the dishwasher, because why not, they need to be washed, why leave them in the sink.

Well, as long as I am dealing with dirty dishes, I might as well deal with the leftovers in the fridge so I can wash those dishes as well. So I went to divide up the leftovers amongst the doggies outside.

While doing that, I noticed cookie needs a good brush out. Last year, her fur became close to matting while she was shedding. I was UNAWARE at how thick her coat was. Not this year though. Brushed her out for a good 20 minutes, got a lot of loose fur off of her.

Went back inside, put the dishes from the leftovers into the dishwasher. Then started it, because it was full enough for me to want to run it. Cleaned the stove. Remembered my tomato and pepper seedlings. I brought them inside overnight because it was really cold. So I carried them outside and put them back in the greenhouse. Took 7 trips. Then, since I was out there, moved my broccoli and cabbages outside the greenhouse as I am hardening them off to plant this week.

Well, now I am covered in pollen and dog hair. So I take a shower, ready for bed.

SO asks me to please make him a sandwich for breakfast before i go to sleep. Of course my darling. So I make a sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich, put the dishes from that activity in the sink to be dealt with later, as the dishwasher is already running, and off to bed.

I wake up this afternoon and realize I am in the same situation I was in this morning. That is, a dishwasher full of clean dishes to be put away, dirty dishes in the sink, and no tea, because i forgot to make it. LOL!
