Cuteness, indeed! Not for big workingmen, maybe, but I think it's a great idea for showing off a tea cup collection without having to serve tea.. I really dislike the current versions of charcuterie that are overcrowded and just a big germy double dip bowl. Often they're designed for art rather than enjoyment, and get unattractive looking fast. Giving everybody their own portions in unique vessel is a fabulous idea, made pretty and festive by this guy. The saucer gives guests an overflow catcher for deconstructing the serving. I'm not sure I'd do it either, especially since I don't have the right size cups and saucers, but I'd be happy to be served something like it.
Very cute. DH and I fix up seperate little bowls of ” stuff” as an afternoon snack for each other. A few nuts, couple of grapes, couple of small crackers, a couple of tiny tomatoes. His bowl to the garage/workshop, mine to wherever I’m reading or sewing.
