It was sweet, and I was thinking it could be a sweet series. (DH and I were wondering where the busboys, servers, dishwashers, and prep people were.)

I found it just OK. As with most Netflix shows & movies not a lot of substance. I admit, I am very picky about what I watch.

I enjoyed it. A very sweet movie. It did make me hungry although not for one dish they featured. Watch the credits and you'll see some of the real Noonas

We watched it the other evening and loved it!

I haven't seen Susan Sarandon in ages. Always liked her acting.

My friend loved it and recommended it. I have it in queue for the next time DH is gone.

I watched it last night. Very enjoyable since it was based on a true story. Sweet and simple 💜

Watched it. Eh-too syrupy for me.

It brought back my childhood. My Nana made her own philo dough! I can see it now, dough rolled so thin it covered the entire metal kitchen table. And the celebration towards the end brought tears to my old eyes. I knew those people long ago.

True, not a lot of substance but I really enjoyed it..
