Hi, Katie-- I don't necessarily see a Roman shade as an ideal option for either of these spaces. For me, I'd do these windows in a cordless white wood blind treatment with an inside mount. In the style I use most often (https://www.lowes.com/pd/LEVOLOR-2-in-Cordless-White-Faux-Wood-Blinds-Common-35-in-Actual-34-5-in-x-72-in/50260811), an external header is included that would help act as a headrail on your windows that lack full trim but do have traditional muntins and sills. This touch should help lend a little additional architectural character to your existing shaker cabinets and millwork throughout both spaces. Unfortunately it doesn't really look like there's adequate room to either side of your fireplace flanking windows for drapery panels to stack off, but, if so, that would be an excellent addition to the space where you could use your oasis linen fabric to create emphasis and add a bit of softness in an additional layer for depth. For a time, I'd try to live with the slider undraped, as it looks like the only place to stack off drapery there would be to the left of the opening, where you now have several wall switches and is also pet feeding central. :) If privacy there isn't an issue, you may be able to get away with it uncovered and not allow intruding glare into the main TV viewing area, too. It's worth a shot. Cheers!

For your draperies you will need to measure the height from bottom of your crown moulding to the floor. Get panels that are as close to that measurement as possible. For a chair I think you need to go with a much smaller scale and it needs to be relocated to where the TV currently sits. There isnt enough room where your current chair sits to house one. As far as color I would pick up the linen color of your head board then accent it with a couple pillows to pick up on your bedding. For example if you should choose the bedding I showed....... using a throw at the foot of the bed or on the chair would also add some layers.

The extra visual is very helpful...especially like the Enviable Designs representation. JudyG Designs, your idea is nice around the loveseat, but for me, it's more formal and a lot, a lot of fabric. With full drapes on both sides of the small windows, I was going to end up with an entire wall of fabric. (There is only 18 inches between the window and the wall on either side.) I also still have a headboard, bed skirt, euro shams, bench and wall art to add to the room. So, I think, in the end, the room will look a little less plain than it does at the moment.

I'd just do some window trim around them and call it a day. no need for blinds or drapes on those if the windows don't really need it. since you're doing a more modern, natural type of look, I wouldn't do drapes. At least not on any of those windows. if you feel you have to have privacy, then do something light and airy like Silhouettes or Pirouettes or a type of flat sheer shade or even a white woven wood (or black one)
