Dino, I made window treatments for a similar bedroom situation. We did pleated panels on each side of the wide windows (hers was actually a french door opening) and used two rods (1 3/8 inch wood to match the furniture) on each side. Then used the same rod/finials and made a simple pleated valance over the off-set window. Both had the same type of pleats at the top and were placed on rings on the rods. Your small window looks too close to the wall to use a finial on each end, however. You might be able to use just an endcap on each end (does not extend out like a finial). I do think your room looks great as it is!

My expertise is selling real estate, not interior design. To me, the function is most important then style. You have very beautiful wall of windows, and it is great to step out onto the deck out of the bedroom surrounded by the trees. Roman shades would look good, and provide privacy when needed, and you may retract them when you want light. Not sure about the door though. May be it could work as well. Another option is wood blinds. We have off white painted wood blinds and love them.

To my eyes that blind is very depressing. I would remove it. I prefer rooms that are bright and cheerful. I would use grommet top panels ( white or cream) on a decorative rod. Get enough lined panels so that there is ample fullness when closed. If more light control is needed I would use simple white pleated shades with the panels. White plantation shutters would be nice, too. Window treatments should look nice from the outside as well as the inside. Quite often those shades look like sheets or paper bags from the outside. Your beautiful room deserves better :).

The decors in your living room seem very golden, if you want to achieve a more luxurious look then you should look no further than velvet curtains! The thickness of velvet curtains can also bring an extra layer of privacy as they’re ggod for blacking out light and blocking sounds as well.
