Comments (7)there is a fern that i used to buy for my house when i didn't have a yard. wish i could find it. can't discribe it except to say that it looks like fingers and doesn't seem that the leaves are evenly spaced, but i can't remember. i think it had a long finger with two side fingers at the top. that is a long time rememberance. in my mind i also think of ET. great to know the deer don't eat ferns. hostas are okay, but i gave most of mine away already. would also love some walking fern after seeing it on the botanical website. when i look for catalogs on ferns they only seem to each have a few....See MoreCan anyone identify what's eating my pumpkin plants? photos
Comments (2)Looks more fungal than bugs. But I agree with Jean. I wouldn't worry. It is the end of August. Are the actual pumpkins developing well? Then not to worry. Keep in mind that once annual plants (and pumpkins are one) begin developing fruits, they throw everything into the fruits. And especially as we move closer to fall, leaves of most species take more damage from many things. You can expect the leaves to look progressively less healthy.
