I would never choose art for someone. My suggestion go to Art,com and see all there is to offer for prints often in sizes to fit spaces. If you want to try investing in original find an art college to get a good idea of a student who does some you like or spend a couple of Saturdays going to galleries . I love the rug but it now drives the bus so maybe more a piece of wall sculpture instaed of a painting and then paint that wall a color from the rug and get a different throw pillow please for the bench

It's important that you select something that is the right size and orientation for your room.

I'm not sure your rug is placed correctly. I might turn it I couldn't locate the exact rug pattern but here is how the space might appear of the rug was turned.

Will suggest that you choose artwork that will compliment your rug (which is very boldly colored and patternend) and not compete with it.

Sorry I should’ve clarified a bit more. I need more ideas on what could work in this space not actual paintings etc. (but those would help too). I’m having a hard time figuring out what could work given the heavy design the rug.
I’ve already moved the table and replaced it with a lamp and the pillows have been updated to go with the rug. The daybed is from CB2 ..the room is narrow so the rug doesn’t work sideways.

Still need a bit of clarity. When you say what could work - are you asking for example - if you should get one large painting for the wall, or a few small paintings, or hang a large sculptural mirror? Is that would you mean by looking for artwork suggestions, help picking something for this wall, but not a specific piece?

Please post other walls in the room. Can't tell what will work in here without seeing the whole room.

I'd put a few cool woven basket trays on the wall and let that rug be the star!

Some of us are suggesting abstract painting that don't compete in pattern with your rug.

I am an abstract painter. You needn't make that down your nose remark. By the way- baskets ARE art.

I would go with colors from our rug for abstract wall art. The colors complement the rug beautifully, creating a balanced and stylish space
