The dining room will be wallpapered in Schumacher Chenonceau in Bisque most likely. We had that in our old dining room and will most likely use it again but are not married to it. We will wait to see how everything looks before adding it. For now, we are going to assume that the walls of dining room will be same color as kitchen. We will have wainscotting in both rooms and it will be white dove.

Agree with @chispa - I'd match the cabs

Match the paint to your cabinet color as closely as you can. It is a lovely color and looks great with your splash. You want to avoid contrast. Dove white will appear slightly different on the wall than on your cabinets but get a samplize swatch of it to try around the room. Paint ceiling, trim, walls the same color.

It's a very personal choice, but as a suggestion...

I would choose something in a darker tone, like BM Revere Pewter.

Your cabinets are lovely, and the fact that you have trimmed them all the way to the ceiling is GREAT! sounds like you get nice light and want to highlight the great moulding and your countertop. I'd sample this or find something even more suitable.

even as deep as SW Virtual Taupe. What you'll see as you enter the room is Your 2 cabinet walls, light, there is no wall space there. so the only painted wall will be the door wall and something behind you as you took the photo. Just a thought.

Make sure you test any colors in your space ... the Rever Pewter recommended above looked like battleship gray when I tested it in my previous house!

Revere Pewter was one of the contenders but my wife thinks it is too dark. Painting the walls White Dove is a possibility but we were thinking we wanted a little contrast but maybe we shouldnt. Idk!

If I want something to be the star I usually choose a color from that.. So a color that matches something in in the taj IMO would then not cpmpete with what you want to be the star and in this case you already have the island differnt so match the taj IMO Ilike the wall color in the bottom pic.

You’ve made so many beautiful choices already, I’m sure whatever you choose will be wonderful. You are in the space in your light with your finishes so trust your judgement on this. Here are some big picture options that might help you decide.

You’re going to choose a neutral, and that color will be light, medium, or dark. If you want light, choose your cabinet color as @chispa and Kendrah recommend. What stands out in this image (to my eye) is the cabinetry.

For a medium tone, what you really want to match is the tile shade (beautiful tile btw). I love Accessible beige. It’s always more beautiful irl. What catches my eye in this image is (predictably) the tile.

This is what a deeper tone can do for you. It provides contrast while marrying the warmth of your wood with the neutral of the counter material. If you really want your counters to pop, going darker might be the (surprise) best choice.

All three looks will work. The great news is you have very little wall space so buy lots of samples and see what you love. Your east-facing space will be darker much of the day, so see if you prefer steering into the darker tones, or trying to hang onto the light.

You have a beautiful kitchen. Enjoy it in the best of health.

I would avoid any hint of (boring) beige paint for this room. The stone and tile has a gorgeous beige sheen so I would not do anything remotely close to them in color. Let them stand alone and shine.

I agree -match the cabs.

Patricia, are you suggesting I match to the tile in second pic? My tile is very close to Pale Oak, at least based on the chip and Samplize sheet I have. The tile really is stunning in person.

I'd either use White Dove on the walls to match the cabinets, or go with a high contrast color. You don't have much wall space, so the wall color won't really make a difference in the look of the room.

There is another wall in the kitchen. I’ll try and get a better picture tomorrow but you can get the gist of it here. The doorway (doors are being removed) are to the right in this picture.

If you want to up it one more notch do the picture frame molding above the chair rail as well.

Make the walls the cabinet color and decorate with pictures. It will keep the counter the focus and won't break up the room and you already know the color works well.

I have TM countertops. My trim is white dove. I did our walls BM Bleeker Beige. Our kitchen also opens to a dining room. I kept those walls BB as well but painted the ceiling BM Quiet Moments

I would go with one of colors from your countertop that is darker than your cabs.

I agree with Celery. Maybe something close in color to your backsplash tile if it's pulling a darker color from the stone.
