Which 'white' for trim color with White Dove on walls?

In my renovated basement (no natural light), I will be using White Dove (eggshell) on walls. I'd like a bit of a contrast with trim (baseboards, doors, shadowboxing). Will Chantilly Lace be the best choice? I'm confused with also seeing Simply White, Super White and White (OC 151). Please help!

You can get contrast using White Dove on the trim, but in semi-gloss finish.

Another thought to share, the room is dark; there always will be lights on. Choose a saturated color for the walls, instead of white. You will get lots of corner shadows with white. By saturated, I mean a gorgeous color from the CSP Collection. There s not one drop of black or gray in the mix.

White Dove in a satin finish for the trim. Keep it all the same, once the furnishings are added it will look great, seamless and better than a noticeable/distracting contrast in a room with no natural light.

I always use an extender with Aura. It gives you more time before drying. If you're painting a bathroom, research "surfactant leaching." This happens when the paint in a bathroom isn't fully cured, and you use the shower. Google photos of surfactant leaching. Most paint stores will say latex cures in a few days, but I had this problem in two homes and did extensive research. You get ugly drips down the walls, and they are yellow or brown. You can wash it off, but it comes back. Now, when I paint a bathroom, I wait 30 days before using the shower. That may be overkill, and if you only have one shower, that would not be possible.

I said on another post that i think Cloud White is highy underrated. I find it to be milky, but not creamy. More of a warmer white, not too stark, but not yellowish. They probably wiuld bith work with the colors you selected. I have cloud white with SW Contented and BM Carrington Beige and it works well with both. To my eye, white dove looks more creamy (yellow) in samples than it does in pics of people's cabinets. BM also lists them as coordinating colors. Your best bet is peobably to get large paped samples or sample pots of both to look at in the space once the floors are installed and cabinets are installed. Maybe one will jump out as the right one, but they will probably both work.

I haven't seen it in person.... only in photos and blogs. but I think your best best is to just paint the walls in simply white eggshell....bc next to the simply white trim in satin or semi-gloss, they will look good. It sounds like you want a subtle difference in whites...and just the finish alone will give you a subtle difference bc of the sheen and how they reflect light.

I have BM Chantilly lace trim, doors and cabinets throughout my house. Most of my walls are BM White Dove.
