Kitchen Cabinet/Countertops Advice

last month

Hi Folks, Working aroud a few variables to get my kitchen redo correct. I live in a 35 year old Victorian styled home, and I've always favored a farmhouse (particularly French/European) style aesthetic. My kitchen is part of a great room, open concept adjacent to a family room where the large grey blue sectional stays. I'm considering a green-blue-grey island (such as BM gossamer/sea star or saybrook sage) in an east facing space, which tends to dull colors to gray. Aversion to grays, yellows and stark whites. I guess my main question is what neutral paint would you use for the surrounding cabinets? In general off-white, beige, tan or taupe? How about any specific recommendations? I'm also leaning into soapstone or dupe countertops. Thank you so much!!!!
