Best Sealant for Honed Granite (Black Vermont)

last month

Just installed Black Vermont Honed Granite in our new kitchen. Our fabricator says he sealed it twice with Stonetech Bulletproof sealer. Unfortunately, I can see streaks/haziness all over the granite (which I can only assume is the dried sealer, based on my own research). Was the sealer applied poorly or is the sealer itself simply a bad choice for this type of granite?

I wanted to remove the streaks (sealer?) with acetone and fine steel wool, as I saw the installer do in certain areas, and reseal it myself, as I hope I can do a better job with the application. Is it best to stick with Stonetech Bulletproof or can I try Stonetech Impregnator Pro (which seems better from what I read). Not sure if the Impregnator Pro would somehow interact with any remnants of the Bulletproof sealer (that I may miss when removing the sealer). Please help!
