I need to see the stone you are planning and why the tan windows ? Post those here in a comment.

Don’t have the stone picked out, was waiting until we have the color for siding, husband picked out windows and now I don’t think I like them but it’s too late . Am I stuck with neutral colors?.

How about off white siding with tan trim and stone with tan in it.

No you are not limited to light colors just because you have tan windows.

Why even add the stone? the house is already short, it will make it look squatty.

Here is a nice green with tan windows. You could keep your porch timbers a stained wood tone with this color scheme.

I would not add stone to walls that are so short to begin with.

I'd only place them at the base of the columns.

I'm not recommending white. Those examples were to give you examples of low slung ranches without stone at the base.

Sage green would be a color to go with tan windows

Reconsider the stone. It’s overkill. And add a soft sage green to the mix. Beverly showed you gorgeous examples of sage green
houses. I think it will look great with your new windows.
